Seventh grade Art Tech students made animal hand puppets which are featured in their short music videos. Several students have shot video outside the art room for use as backgrounds when applying the greenscreen technique. Students edited their videos in the iMovie app on their iPads, and added iMovie soundtracks. On the name labels of the videos below, if there are more names than there are puppets, the final name is the videographer.
Second grade art students recently drew “Color Wheel Flower Gardens” with pencils, colored pencils, and permanent markers. The dominant flower in each composition has petals that show a 6-part color wheel. Brown and black appear in the central circle of the color wheel flowers because they can be obtained by mixing the three primaries in different proportions.
