Mrs. Kennedy saw Bobbie give up her spot to have a turn with a special job for someone else. The last week has been incredibly challenging with the flooding damage to six classrooms and the front office. Never have we ever been more grateful to have Mrs. Sommer as our principal, wisely and strategically navigating the deluge of challenges (pun intended). We simply cannot stress how blessed our school community is to have a principal with an unbelievably strong work ethic. Mrs. Sommer has a passion for helping the school, its faculty and most of all, its students, reach their full potential. Instead of charging admission today, we are inviting contributions to the Flooded Classrooms Fund. The fund was launched in response to the destructive flooding in six classrooms due to burst pipes on Monday. While insurance will cover many expenses, there are some that cannot be covered. Some of these costs include tvs, whiteboards and other supplies for the temporary classrooms. Our third, fourth and fifth grade teachers also lost many personal belongings that they use in their classrooms to teach that insurance may not necessarily cover. Thank you for considering a donation to this fund!
