Eighth graders recently finished the Stations of the Cross project in Mr. Bell’s Art Tech class. The Renaissance-based grid method was used to create free-hand pencil and ink drawings of illustrations by contemporary artist Shari Van Vranken. Students edited and colored photos of their drawings with the Sketchbook app on their iPads. The artworks shown above are by Luke Walter (left) and Brooke Hall (right). The 8C class drew Stations 1 through 7. The 8D class drew Stations 8 through 14.
