OUR MISSION
As a center of evangelization, Saint Peter Catholic School builds the leaders of tomorrow upon the foundation of Jesus Christ by preparing students in spirituality, academics, service, and stewardship.
OUR MISSION AND CORE VALUES
A FOUNDATION
AS SOLID AS ROCK
At St. Peter Catholic School, we see Catholic education as an avenue for forming not just good students, but good citizens. Our mission of academic excellence is thus oriented towards the goal of graduating well-rounded leaders who are formed and trained in strong values, love Jesus, and love others by serving them.
The four pillars we use to develop these kinds of students and citizens are spirituality, academics, service, and stewardship.
SPIRITUALITY
Spirituality is at the heart of everything we do here at SPCS. We are not a Catholic-in-name-only school; we strive to exude a love of Jesus in every aspect of our school. While religion is a core academic subject, faith is not confined to the classroom — we infuse prayer into all we do, so that students truly learn what it means to be a disciple of Jesus and develop a relationship with Him.
ACADEMICS
Rigorous meets real world when it comes to academics at SPCS. Our students are formed and challenged to academic excellence, not for the sake of test scores, but for lifelong learning and retention. We go beyond textbooks and worksheets, providing students with opportunities to practically apply what they’re learning with real world, hands-on projects. The result is a learning environment that is both fun and prepares students for their futures.
SERVICE
But we don’t just want our students to understand the world — we want them to learn how to take that knowledge and use it for good. That is why service is an integral part of what we do and who we are here at SPCS. In a self-centered society, we turn our students’ focus outward, reinforcing what they’re learning in the classroom to the benefit of others and cultivating their innate desire to make their mark on the world.
STEWARDSHIP
Finally, we teach our students to become good stewards of their time, resources, and the world. From our virtues-based curriculum to high standards for organization and responsibility, we help students develop executive functioning skills that are necessary for high school, college, and beyond.
"GOD AS THE CENTRAL PART OF LIFE"
Saint Peter Catholic School prepared me for life by having God be the central part of the day. Having God as the central part of life helps you handle whatever comes your way. Having that foundation has helped me throughout and will continue as I move forward to college.
