WHY SPCS

Think you know everything to expect from a Catholic private school? Think again. There’s something different happening here at St. Peter Catholic School — and we’d love for you to be a part of it.

FAITH

CATHOLIC IN NAME

AND ACTION

This isn’t a “Catholic in name only” kind of school. Faith and prayer is integrated into everything we do, and it is truly such a joy to get to worship together in community. We don’t just teach our students the facts of the faith; we focus on showing them how to live it.

ACADEMICS

RIGOROUS MEETS

REAL WORLD

Our faculty have an incredible knack for applying “textbook knowledge” in innovative, hands-on ways. Your student won’t just learn about concepts like ratios or cell structure — they’ll us them to figure out the height of the school flag pole or create “cell pillows” in art class. The result? A rigorous education that’s also fun AND prepares them for the real world!

INCREDIBLE FACULTY

TEACHERS WHO

WALK THE WALK

Our faculty don’t just teach your children; they accompany them. We’re constantly blown away by how they exude the love of Jesus — cheering our students on inside and outside the classroom, pouring into their development, and providing incredible academic experiences. It’s no wonder they’re so beloved by our students and families for years to come!

Another testament to our incredible faculty? 10% of our teachers are alumni of SPCS themselves!

VALUES AND SERVICE

INSTILLING TRADITIONAL VALUES

IN A COUNTER-CULTURAL WORLD

In a world that is becoming increasingly self-centered and rejecting traditional values, St. Peter Catholic School offers a different path. Through our focus on service and values-based curriculum, we don’t just form good students — we form good citizens: Future leaders who have strong moral character and are ready to change the world by helping others.

OTHER DIFFERENCES

THAT MAKE A DIFFERENCE

Besides our close-knit family feel? Here’s what else you’ll notice about us right away:

Numerous Athletic Opportunities

You don’t have to sacrifice athletic opportunities for a Catholic school education. We strongly believe that athletics can be a fantastic way to hone God-given skills and talents and are an important part of whole-person development. You’ll find that our 15 Wildcat athletic teams are well-known not just for excelling in their sports, but also for the character development they provide.

Because of our size, we have the unique ability to help each student reach their full potential AND the resources to help them succeed. All of our faculty have a strong focus on accountability and academic rigor, coupled with a deep dedication and care for helping each student make progress from wherever they are academically. For those who need it, our resource department is meant specifically to assist any students who may need a little extra help and a dedicated plan. In other words, you can be confident your child will not “slip through the cracks” here!

We take very seriously the responsibility not only to educate your children, but also to keep them safe. We stay on top of the latest safety recommendations for schools, and our security director is truly the best of the best (so much so that he actually trains other local school resource officers!).

We know it’s cliche, but our SPCS community is truly a family. There’s just something about praying, serving, and learning together that creates strong bonds. It’s a culture where you’ll see parents cheering other kids on and the joy of relationships built upon years of growing up together.

A simple example? Our Wildcat Shout-Outs, where students and faculty are nominated by their fellow SPCS community members for displaying certain virtues. It’s just one of the many ways that we love building one another up here at SPCS!

“I am honestly speechless. We heard how amazing it was, but we didn’t really know that this level of organization was possible with kids this age. We didn’t know that our kid was capable because no one has ever tried her, tested her and encouraged her like her two teachers do now. We are truly grateful for every person who has played a role in the growth and development of Brynnleigh. We have seen amazing leaps and bounds, and the credit is due with you all! Thank you from the bottom of my heart!”

"GOD AS THE CENTRAL PART OF LIFE"

Saint Peter Catholic School prepared me for life by having God be the central part of the day. Having God as the central part of life helps you handle whatever comes your way. Having that foundation has helped me throughout and will continue as I move forward to college.

– Anthony Saieed, SPCS Class of 2014
